Wakefield, Yorkshire. 27 February 2009 - Asprea is part of Carillion plc, one of the world's largest construction and service companies. Asprea was formed to provide a dedicated service to one of the worlds largest insurance providers.
Asprea manages domestic buildings insurance claims on behalf of the companys policy holders. Using a team of professional and guaranteed maintenance and building suppliers, Asprea repair covered damage to peoples homes quickly, efficiently, and to a very high standard.
Maintaining control of an extensive network of suppliers and contractors is vital to delivering Asprea's services in a timely, efficient and economical fashion. Asprea retained the services of Thrower Consultancy to help them undertake a national supply chain audit. Thrower Consultancy turned to eleventeenth to provide the tools to make this mammoth undertaking manageable.
eleventeenth deployed its Resource DLM resource management platform in a way that enabled a team of call centre operatives to enter data straight into the database. An intuitive web interface prompted them through a telephone survey process, offering guidance as to which responses were optional, and which were mandatory.
Analytics DLM was used to process and report on the data once it had been amalgamated, and bespoke business logic modules provided proximity based reporting.
Mick Thrower, MD of Thrower Consulting said, "I came to eleventeenth with a tall challenge and a tight deadline. They customised their existing systems in record time, and had a solution for me within 10 days. As we began the data gathering exercise, they were there to make changes as the project required. Their flexibility and speed was key to making this project a success"
Marcus Dyson, CEO of eleventeenth said, "Our application platform is increasingly being pressed into offering solutions to resource management challenges. Its close integration with Analytics DLM means that we can not only help people collect and manage resource data, but also to report on it in ways that are intuitive and informative."
