When top jet-fuel supplier Q8 Aviation identified the requirement for a high-tech new client extranet system, they were delighted that they chose eleventeenth to deliver the project
Q8 Aviation is one of the World’s leading marketers of jet fuel. Its business has grown rapidly over the past decade and annual sales are now over 1.5 billion US Gallons. Q8Aviation provides jet fuel to around 200 airlines at more than 60 airports across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
In the summer of 2008, Q8 Aviation decided to increase its’ value proposition with the introduction of a new client extranet system. The system’s been live for a month, and it’s already clear that it represents a resounding success!
Q8’s new extranet takes real-time data directly from their internal ERP system and presents customers with a personalised dashboard showing the key information from their account. The system boasts an intuitive graphical user interface and has been developed with functionality and usability as the top priorities.
Mary Henderson, Head of IT at Q8 Aviation said; “We started the extranet development process by asking our customers exactly what they wanted from the new system. They asked for up-to-date information about all aspects of their account as well as easy access to historical data such as invoices, delivery tickets and price notifications.
The system eleventeenth delivered used their ‘DLM’ content management system. We have found DLM to be comprehensive, user-friendly and excellent at handling high volumes of data. The system addressed our customers’ requirements perfectly and we are delighted to say that a high proportion of them have already signed-up and are actively using it."
Nick Nigel, Q8 Aviation’s Sales and Marketing Manager added; "We had confidence in eleventeenth as they have produced extremely high-level work for us in the past, but our new extranet has truly exceeded our expectations. We have received very positive feedback from our customers and the system has provided the added benefit of reducing the workload of some of our staff.”
Marcus Dyson, CEO of eleventeenth, also commented; “We’ve been involved in the last three iterations of the Q8 Aviation website and were very happy to be awarded the extranet project. We have enjoyed working closely with Q8 Aviation on this and believe that the system we’ve delivered puts Q8 firmly ahead of its competition in the provision of value-adding customer information.”
